The Bum’s Rush #38

Yeah, so I'm writing this week's "Bum's Rush". You can imagine how excited I am about that prospect considering I haven't really read any comics over the last couple of years. No problems with 'em, just haven't been to the comic book store and been thrilled by anything on the rack. Actually, I'm more of a graphic novel/trade paperback kinda guy but even those haven't caught my eye lately.

Anyway, you can imagine how difficult it's gonna be for me to get through this so now I'm just gonna ramble on through this and find something to write about.

So, Lindsay Lohan's gonna be nude in this week's Vanity Fair. I'm pissed that she lost all the weight and dyed her hair blonde, because I love redheads, but at least she's showing those hot little freckles. They're probably not gonna show any goodies but there should be some nice side-boob action.

Yeah, so, what now...

Oh, I saw "Hostel" this weekend and it was okay. I really don't see what everyone was getting so worked up over. It was pretty gory but the violence was about the same as every other slick, slasher flick nowadays. The original Romero "Dead" movies were more graphic, but I only ever saw "Day of the Dead" -- so, I guess I can only really speak from having seen the one of the trilogy. Yeah, so, um, "Hostel" was pretty good. Well, except for all the hype.

OH YEAH! I did read a comic book recently. Well, a trade paperback-- hardback, actually. I read
"Identity Crisis" finally and was thoroughly disappointed. Again, too much hype. Rags Morales' art rocks ass though.

Anyway, so here's this week's "Bum's Rush". Paul usually sticks up some stuff about the latest comic gossip or buzz, or some such but I'm not as into comic news as he is so here's a list of some of my favorite things instead.
