What Is Stumblebum?
Stumblebum Studios, based in Dallas, Texas, is a collective of writers
and artists formed in 2004 by A.C. Hall, Paul Milligan, Dana Place, and
Kevin Steele as a way to showcase their talents and garner attention in
the comic book industry and beyond. Since its inception, Stumblebum has
grown to include over a dozen members from Texas and across the United
States. Though not a comic book publisher in the traditional sense,
Stumblebum has released a number of comics aimed at displaying the work
of its members, including Twilight Tales: Second Skin, the Cultural
Void/Der Wundervolle Bean Flipbook, Stumblebum Studios Anthology 2005,
Mars 1938, God of Rock, and Round Two - The 2006 Anthology. Stumblebum also
hosts the Dallas/Fort Worth Sketch Group, a monthly get-together
of artists and writers from around North Texas. |
