Avengers & Power Pack Assemble! #4 (of 4)
Writer: Marc Sumerak
Art: Gurihiru
Letters: Dave Sharpe
Plot: After being sucked into a time portal created by Kang
the Conqueror, the Power Pack end up in the future with the
only remaining superheroes in the world… The Power Pack?! In
order to save the world, they have to break into Kang’s base
with their older selves and rescue the Avengers.
Review: An all ages book with an engaging plot, without
being heavy-handed or condescending and still playing to its
core audience. This book was fun and could easily be enjoyed
by anyone looking to pick up a good story. I recommend this
book. The art is appropriately cartoony and the action is
plentiful throughout. This book is a quick fun read and well
worth the $3 price tag, even if you don’t try to go back and
read the previous three issues.
