Batman/Gotham Knights #68

Plot: A warehouse fire gives a new villain the perfect opportunity to a long awaited revenge on Bruce Wayne, and the perfect person to help him do it.

Review: This is the first in a story arc called “The Shape of Things To Come.” It seems that the first part of this arc had more to tell than could be fit in one issue. That is it’s biggest problem. The 22 page comic tries to set up a story that probably should have and could have been spread out over a few issues. In order to put the entire premise together, the comic jumps around, from person to person, and time frame to time frame, without enough time to actually introduce each character. Hopefully the rest of the series will calm down to tell a coherent story, but in essence there is just too much going on for a single issue.
