Review: This is the first in a story arc called “The
Shape of Things To Come.” It seems that the first part of
this arc had more to tell than could be fit in one issue.
That is it’s biggest problem. The 22 page comic tries to set
up a story that probably should have and could have been
spread out over a few issues. In order to put the entire
premise together, the comic jumps around, from person to
person, and time frame to time frame, without enough time to
actually introduce each character. Hopefully the rest of the
series will calm down to tell a coherent story, but in
essence there is just too much going on for a single issue.
Special thanks go out to Jeremy Shorr, owner of
Titan Comics for allowing us to use his advance
preview books for review purposes.
