Desolation Jones #5
Writer: Warren Ellis
Artist: J.H. Williams III
Colors: Jose Villarrubia
Letters: Todd Klein
Plot: In this issue of Desolation Jones, Mr. Jones
realizes that he may be unraveling a much larger conspiracy
than he originally believed. After being shot, he drags his
drugged and broken body through the streets to find the
person who tried to kill him.
Review: Issue five holds up just as well as the rest
of the series. The art adds to the already tense plotline
and brings out the grittiness of a growingly tense
situation. This is only the fifth issue in the series so it
should be pretty easy to find the first four (if you haven’t
run out and picked them up already). Go get it. This is a
beautiful, tense, thrilling comic and definitely a breath of
fresh air.
