Exiles
#72
Writer: Tony Bedard
Pencils: Paul Pelletier
Inker: Rick Magyar
Colorist: Wil Quintana
Plot:
Set after the “House of M”, the Exiles are trapped on
Earth #161 and are tracking a godlike creature that may help
them get off the planet. They run into a world quite
different from their own and have to track down one of their
members when they get separated.
Review: The Exiles are thrown on a new planet where
everything is different from their home. They are confused
and forced to deal with an alternate reality all while
trying find a way home. Never been done before. Pretty
original stuff. Ha. Even the Exiles all come across as
prototypes for the X Men group that were thrown out years
ago and found in the back dumpster. The story makes me
really not want to care one way or the other about any of
these guys, but the art is pretty. Plus, this is #72, so
someone must be reading it. Maybe Exiles is really a great
series and this one just got away from the writer. Or maybe
this is just bad. I am really not interested in finding out
either way.
