Iron Man #7
Writers: Daniel and Charles Knauf
Penciler: Patrick Zircher
Inker: Scott Hanna
Colorist: Studio F’s Antonio Fabela
Plot:
Infected with the Extremis virus, Tony Stark has seen his abilities multiply and although he enjoys the freedom to do
more in the suit than he thought possible, he is having
trouble restraining himself so the rest of the Avengers
won’t anything is wrong. Meanwhile, Ironman is implicated in
a Russian mafia hit.
Review: I have to say I am a big fan of Patrick Zircher’s
art in this book. This is the first in a storyline by Daniel
and Charles Knauf, and they seem to be placing most of this
storyline’s emphasis on Tony Stark’s personal demons and his
problems handling his relationship with both S.H.I.E.L.D and
the Avengers, with the action playing secondary. I think
this could be a good thing for Iron Man, help him deal with
unresolved issues and make for a fuller character. Something
future writers will benefit from. Overall, a good read and
it really bodes well for the rest of the story arc.
