The
Irredeemable Ant-Man #1
Writer: Robert Kirkman
Penciler: Phil Hester
Inker: Ande Parks
Colorist: Bill Crabtree
Plot: Hank Pym is designing a new Ant-Man suit for S.H.I.E.L.D. when a member of the security force
accidentally incapacitates him and takes the suit.
Review: An entire comic about two guys fighting over the
same girl. One of them happens to steal a superhero suit. Oh
and Wolverine shows up to promote a hardcover version of a
comic that Marvel would rather have people buy. His
appearance constitutes the only real action in the book
while the rest is a set up for a lot of soap opera drama to
come. Uggh. Reading this comic will make you sterile. I
would take more time to actually list why this comic
represents everything evil that is happening to comics but I
think I have already put more time into this review than the
creators actually put into creating a decent book, so I am
just going to use the rest of my allotted time to see if my
neighbor has a gas oven I can stick my head into.
Special thanks go out to Jeremy Shorr, owner of Titan Comics for allowing us to use his advance preview books for review purposes.
