Spider-Girl
#90
Writer: Tom DeFalco
Pencils: Ron Frenz
Finishes: Sal Buscema
Colorist: Gotham
Plot: Spider-girl is put under a spell by Misery and
is forced to deal with some of the underlying issues of
being the daughter of a genetically enhanced superhero.
Review: Spider-girl #90 is pretty pointless. She
thinks she is dreaming while being forced to deal with her
subconscious problems with all the subtlety of a hammer to
the forehead. The story is dull and completely uninspired.
No matter who this comic was written for, the comic is so
dumbed down that I don’t really see how anyone can possibly
care what is happening to her. The art is pretty good, but I
couldn’t possibly suggest anyone pick this up. Unless of
course you like being talked down to and insulted for
spending $2.99.
