Plot: Two short stories about a day in the life of
Spiderman and his alter ego, Peter Parker. In the first,
Spiderman runs into an old villain trying to make amends for
the villainy he caused in the past. In the second, Peter
Parker runs into a carbon copy of his life before his Uncle
Ben died. Then the kid’s parents are murdered, and Peter
uses his resources to show the young man that there can
still be hope after his tragic loss.
Review: This is the first Unlimited title I have
picked up, but if this issue is any indication, I will
definitely pick up more. The first story is more light
hearted than the second, very fun, ending with Spiderman’s
generosity just making matters worse. The second shows a
more personal side to Peter Parker and is actually kind of
touching. As a one shot issue this is a fun read and is a
nice break your typical comic book.
