The
Thing #1
Story: Dan Slott
Artist: Andrea Divito
Colors: Laura Villari
Letters: Dave Lanphear
Plot: Benjamin Grimm is given full financial control
of the Fantastic Four fortune. This issue takes a look at
his personal life, how he deals with money, and how the
wealthy deal with him.
Review: This issue is a tongue in cheek look at the
“off the clock” Fantastic Four and their bulkiest, most
awkward member. This series mixes the action of the
“Clobberin’ time” Grimm in the series with his almost alter
ego-ish self and how they blend together. It is a fun quick
read, and the series looks like it give fans of the actual
Fantastic Four plenty of action and wit. If you are a fan of
the Fantastic Four series and always wanted to take a peek
behind the scenes, check this out.
