The
Walking Dead #28
Writer: Robert Kirkman
Pencil, Inks, Cover: Charlie Aldard
Graytones, Color Cover, Back Cover: Cliff Rathburn
Letterer: Rus Wooten
Plot: Rick, Glenn, and Michonne are being interrogated by
the leader of a compound as to who sent them and why they
are at the camp. During the interrogation, they are
witnesses to a gladiator event involving a group of tied up
zombies. After a struggle, they are subdued by their captors
and all hope seems lost.
Review: It is really hard to go wrong with a black and white
zombie story that knows to mix in the violence with a little
bit of humor and keep an engaging story. I have only read
this single issue but I think Robert Kirkman is on to
something and as long as he can keep the gore flowing and
keep the plot moving at a steady pace, this will definitely
be a book to spend your hard earned three dollars on.
