X-Men:
Apocalypse vs. Dracula (1 of 4)
Writer: Frank Tieri
Penciler: Clay Henry
Inker: Mark Morales
Colorist: Wil Quintana
Plot: A secret cult of Egyptians hold a dangerous
secret. They watch over the body of Apocalypse. Apocalypse
is the turner of tides, the destroyer of civilizations. He
appears only to end the reign of one villainous tyrant and
allow the next to flourish. In this first issue of four, a
series of murders in England after the Jack the Ripper
Murders brings to light the secret society and its members
feel the need to bring back Apocalypse to hide their secret.
Review: Despite the above plotline, this series
actually looks kinda cool. I am really no fan of these X-Men
off shoots, but this has the potential to be a neat what if.
Clay Henry’s art is spot on and it is only the four issues.
Check it out. Not Shakespeare, but then again, what is?
