Force (2006)
Steve Seagal
David Kennedy
Matthew Chambers
Directed by Michael Keusch
Plot: Marshall Lawson loses his strike-team in a
cold-blooded and seemingly random attack. After this he
takes it upon himself to investigate the suspicious
circumstances of the brutal killings. Soon he uncovers CTX
Majestic, a covert military operation so secret, that now
the military wants Marshall eliminated. Resolute in his
pursuit, Marshall engages in a merciless battle with a drug
dealer operation that appears to be secretly funded by a
rogue arm of the military.
Review: I am heavily into the martial arts, therefore
I will watch (or suffer) through just about any karate
movie. I really love to watch Steven Seagal in action,
because Aikido is a beautiful art and he executes it
beautifully. Unfortunately, we rarely get to see him do it
anymore.
This movie is just another bad Seagal film , like we have
come to expect. I will say that this is actually better than
the last few he's done. It was still not a good movie by any
means. The fighting is lame and few and far between. The
acting is stiff and bad. (like usual) The story is the only
thing that isn't that bad. It's not that good, but it had
potential in a different film. I usually go into these
movies knowing it's going to suck but hoping for the best.
The thing that killed this movie immediately was the fact
that throughout the movie it varies between Seagal's voice
and some other actors voice dubbed over. That is quality
film making. Unless you did something wrong and deserve the
punishment, stay away from this movie.
