Plot: The adventures of Curious George, the inquisitive

spunky and fun-loving nature endears him to new friends, but
also lands him in a series of (mis-)adventures.
Review: I was a big Curious George fan when I was a kid. I
loved the books and always wanted a cartoon. Of course I
never got it and my childhood was destroyed. Luckily my kids
didn’t have to suffer like me and got this film. Of course
they had never read any of the books and didn’t seem too
affected.
The movie is not an adaptation of any of the books, but more
of an origin story. It tells the story of how George and the
man in the big yellow hat meet. I enjoyed this movie, but
more due to the memories of reading the books as a child.
There is nothing real special or original, but the movie is
decent. It isn’t like a lot of the animated films that come
out now days; it is geared towards smaller kids and actually
uses traditionally animated artwork, instead of computer
animation. Overall I liked seeing Curious George come to
life, but do not think most adults will enjoy it. It’s good
for smaller kids and those who want to relive a childhood
memory.
