Plot: When a diverse group of strangers find
themselves trapped in an isolated tavern, they must band
together in a battle for survival against a family of
flesh-hungry creatures that lay siege. 'Feast' is the
winning film from the hit series 'Project Greenlight,'
created by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Chris Moore.
Review: Project Greenlight was one of my favorite
shows when it was on. Not because it was a great show, but
because I like seeing movies being made and since I work on
some independent films myself, it gives me better ideas how
to do things. I saw the first 2 Project Greenlight films,
Stolen Summer & The Battle of Shaker Heights, and they
weren’t horrible, but they weren’t good either. Although I
really wanted to see this movie, I was a little bit worried.
I can safely say there is nothing to worry about with this
movie, it was great! I love horror films and the more gore
the better. This movie is full of so much gore that it
becomes ridiculous at times, but it works. This is a total
horror fans dream come true. There is no plot, no character
development, just craziness and gore. It was the most fun I
have had with a movie in a long time. The story is
borderline silly, but cool too. No character is safe in this
movie, so you never know who is gong to bite it next. My
favorite part about this movie is the fact that there is no
explanation of what is going on. These creatures just show
up to eat, kill, and have sex with everything, just because.
No silly invasion or nuclear storyline to explain, you just
accept it and enjoy. I really hope to see Director John
Gulager do some other films, I think he has a good eye for
filmmaking.
