Plot: In Tokyo, a young woman is exposed to the same
mysterious curse that afflicted her sister. The supernatural

its next victim, brings together a group of previously
unrelated people who attempt to unlock its secret to save
their lives.
Review: I actually enjoyed not only the original
Grudge (Ju-On), but I also enjoyed the American remake.
I thought the trailer for this sequel looked pretty creepy,
but I am always skeptical sequels.
Overall this was a good follow-up. I enjoyed the return of
Sarah Michelle Gellar for the brief amount of time to set up
the continuation of the story. The characters were nothing
special, but played well by all the actors. Visually the
movie had a good mood to it. It seemed to add to the
creepyness of the film. There are some good scare moments,
but nothing over the top. By biggest problem with this movie
is that it is too convoluted. The story is put together in
an interesting way, but sometimes frustrated me. I would
have preferred it to go straight through in this film, but I
don’t think it really hurt it to much. I believe there will
be some people who enjoy this aspect, which I normally do,
but not everyone. It does add and extra mystery to the story
if nothing else. If you enjoyed the first Grudge or
ghost movies, you will probably dig this one.
