Plot: When three popular girls from different cliques
discover they've all been dating the school stud, they band
together to seek revenge. Despite the jerk's charm and
ever-growing popularity, the girls cleverly scheme with the
help of the inconspicuous new girl in town, to soil his
reputation and break his heart.
Review: I admit that I am a fan of Desperate
Housewives, so seeing Jesse Metcalfe in a film was cool. I
am pretty picky when it comes to these kinds of films,
because they usually are all the same crap, but I figured if
the director of Howard Stern’s Private Parts did it, it had
to be good.
Overall this movie is ok. There is nothing really special
about this movie. The story is not original, but is decent.
The acting is good, but what I expected from this kind of
film. There are some really funny moments, but there are
also some slow moments. The cast is good, but there is no
one that shines. Jesse Metcalfe was good, but he just played
his character from Desperate Housewives, which leads me to
believe he has no range. The only person that really
irritated me was Ashanti. I don’t know if it was her
character or the stupid thing on her head half the movie,
but she irritated to no end every time she was on screen. If
you like the normal ‘chick flick’, then you will probably
like this film.
