Plot: An independent-minded doctor (Sandra Bullock)
who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging

actually living two years apart, they must try to unravel
the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it's
too late.
Review: I really had no interest in this movie. I
like both Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, but the trailer
just did nothing for me. I heard the film was good from
various people and my wife wanted to see it so I decided to
visit the Lake House for myself.
To my surprise I liked this movie. It wasn’t a typical love
story which I thought made it better. The way the director
created a relationship between two people without them even
being in the scene together, I thought was great. I also
really enjoyed the way they took the voice over’s and made
them more of a conversation, rather than just letters being
read. Both Keanu and Sandra both give good performances. The
movie is somewhat slow, but it works. I found the story to
be somewhat bizarre, but never seemed to question it or how
these things could happen. I recommend a trip to the Lake
House.
