Review: This movie is one of those that I was
wandering through blockbuster and it just caught my eye. The
strange image on the cover just grabbed me. When I picked it
up and saw the cast I figured it had potential and decided I
would give it a try.
Overall the movie is a fun time. The story is nothing really
original, but does work well. This film is almost a low
budget version of Meet the Parents. All of the cast give
good performances and work well together. What made this
movie really work, Danny DeVito and Kathy Bates. They are
brilliant. As soon as they hit the screen it is a non-stop
laugh riot the entire time. The chemistry and banter they
have with each other makes this film really come together
nicely. If anyone else had been cast in these parts it just
would not have worked. I really ended up enjoying this film
and recommend it.
