Review: I never understand why they make sequels to
movies that don’t do very well. I do not know how much money
the first Undisputed made, but I don’t remember it being a
big hit. I also don’t remember the movie being that good.
Needless to say they did make a sequel, but at least they
cast someone I like, Spawn himself. I saw the trailer for it
and was surprised to see that it looked kind of cool.
This movie has that feel of the 80’s and 90’s straight to
video martial arts films that I used to love. The story is
just an average low plot action film. You go into this film
watching it for the action and nothing else. I am personally
a big fan of Michael Jai White and don’t think he does
enough and he was no disappointment here. He really carried
the movie well. The fight scenes to this film were really
good. The choreography was well done and well filmed. I want
to give props to co-star Scott Adkins for his martial arts
abilities. He is has a great screen presence and is amazing
to watch. Overall the movie is nothing special, but if you
enjoyed old school martial arts films from the 80’s and 90’s
you will probably dig this movie.
